FOUNDATION
The goal of the Osceola Community Health Foundation is to build healthy communities by fostering charitable support for the Osceola Medical Center and the health related needs of the people in the upper St.Croix Valley.
The Foundation has been very active in bringing OMC’s health care services to greater heights and in ensuring the future well being of our community.
The Foundation was founded in 2001 as a subsidiary of OMC. The not-for-profit organization works to identify needs and provide health related services to residents of our community. Using philanthropic assistance, we strive to provide support for the medical center and implement health related programs that benefit all age groups. The foundation receives administrative support from OMC, and is governed by a voluntary board of directors consisting of respected community members.
With this structure, 100 percent of donations go toward five designated funds. The funds have been established to fulfill the many diverse needs of St. Croix Valley residents. The foundation assures that all financial gifts to these funds will remain in our community. The funds are:
• Osceola Medical Center Programs and Services Fund
• Family and Community Health Services Fund
• Youth and School Health Services Fund
• Health Career Scholarship Fund
• Senior Health Services Fund
Gifts to the Foundation can be made in many ways, and 100 percent of the donations go toward designated programs. Your specific situation will determine which method provides you with the greatest benefits. Before giving, individuals are encouraged to contact their own qualified, professional advisors. Common gift types include:
• Cash
• Real Estate
• Personal Property
• Securities
• Insurance
• Charitable Trusts
• Gift Annuities
• Memorials/Bequests
Your gift is greatly appreciated by the Foundation and members of our community. All donors will be recognized appropriately if desired.
