"Building healthy communities by fostering
charitable support for the Osceola Medical
Center and the health related needs of the
people in the upper St.Croix Valley"
Osceola's first medical facility was
established in 1932 by Dr. L.O. Simenstad
at the former home of Charles C. Ladd-a
gift to the village by the Ladd family.
Since then, through its clinic, hospital,
and nursing home, the Osceola Medical Center
has grown to provide comprehensive health
care services to residents of the upper
St. Croix Valley. With the Osceola Community
Health Foundation, we are now taking steps
to bring our health care services to even
greater heights and ensure the future well
being of our community.
Founded in 2001 as a subsidiary of the Osceola
Medical Center, Osceola Community Health
Foundation is a not-for-profit organization
working to identify needs and provide health
related services to residents of our community.
Utilizing philanthropic assistance, we strive
to provide support for the medical center
and implement health related programs that
benefit all age groups. The foundation receives
administrative support from the Osceola
Medical Center and a voluntary board of
directors consisting of respected community
members. Because of this structure, 100
percent of the donations go toward designated
funds.
Five funds have been established to fulfill
the many diverse needs of St. Croix Valley
residents. The foundation assures that
all financial gifts to these funds will
remain in our community.
- Osceola Medical Center Programs and Services Fund
- Family and Community Health Services Fund
- Youth and School Health Services Fund
