H1N1 VACCINE UPDATE

Additional H1N1 flu vaccine has arrived and Osceola Medical Center has opened its H1N1 Flu Vaccination Clinics to all people 6 months old and older. If you wish to schedule your vaccination appointment, call 715-294-2111 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Although H1N1 occurrences have declined, influenza activity is still higher than in previous years and is still considered a pandemic. The Centers for Disease Control recommends that you be vaccinated against the H1N1 virus even if you have had a flu-like illness. Other viral illnesses can have similar symptoms. Only lab testing can confirm the presence of the H1N1 virus.
