Warren Abell, DO, Surgeon
Warren Abell, DO, is board-certified with the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery. With some 20 years experience, he joined Osceola Medical Center in February 2009 as a surgeon. Dr. Abell is a graduate of the University of Health Services, College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kansas City, MO. He completed his internship at Normandy Osteopathic Hospitals, St. Louis, MO, and his residency at Mount Clemens General Hospital, Mount Clemens, MI. Abell is a member of the Minnesota Medical Association, Minnesota Surgical Society and American Osteopathic Association.




Robert Dybvig, MD, Chief Medical Officer
Rob Dybvig, MD, is a board-certified Family Medicine physician who joined the Osceola Medical Center staff in 1999. He received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine in 1987, and completed his residency in Family Practice at St. John's Hospital in Maplewood, MN, in 1990.


Prior to joining OMC, Dr. Dybvig was associated with the Cambridge Medical Center in Minnesota, serving in such key roles as family physician, chief of staff, vice president of medical affairs and medical director of the respiratory therapy department.


Dr. Dybvig and his wife, Dr. Bonnie Rohr, also a family physician at Osceola Medical Center, reside in Osceola with their three children.




Nicole Johnson, PA-C, Family Medicine
Nicole Johnson, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant. She received her bachelor's degree from the College of St. Benedict, St. Joseph, MN, where she studied pre-physician assistant medicine and music. Her master's degree in physician assistant studies is from King's College, Wilkes-Barre, PA. She is board certified as a PA by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and is certified in comprehensive advanced life support.

Her interests include women's health, children's health and preventive medicine. Her hobbies include music, tennis, downhill skiing and traveling.




Kevin Klein, MD, Family Medicine
Kevin Klein, MD, a board-certified Family Practice Physician since 1998, joined the Osceola Medical Center in 2005. He pursued his pre-medical education at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, and received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School. Dr. Klein did his residency at Franciscan Skemp Medical Center in La Crosse. He is also a former Lieutenant Commander, serving for four years at the Naval Hospital Cherry Point, NC.





Art Marquis, MD, Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine
Art Marquis, MD, is a board-certified Family Practice Physician. He joined Osceola Medical Center in November 2008 as an Emergency Department physician. Marquis is a 1971 graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, WI. He has more than 30 years experience in family medicine and emergency and outpatient medicine. He spent 24 years in Watertown, WI, and five years in the US Air Force, in emergency and inpatient care. His interests include cardiology and orthopedics.





Greg Mattson, MD, Family Medicine
Greg Mattson, MD, has been with Osceola Medical Center since 1993. Dr. Mattson received his bachelor’s degree in biology from North Park College in Chicago, IL. He attended medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, receiving his degree in 1987. He completed his family practice residency at the West Suburban Hospital Medical Center in Oak Park, IL. His professional memberships include the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Practice and McHenry County Medical Society. In 1990, Dr. Mattson was voted “Outstanding Family Practice Resident” by the West Suburban Hospital Medical Center.

He and his wife, Cory, live in Osceola with their children. When he’s not at Osceola Medical Center, he enjoys fishing, fishing and more fishing. He also volunteers for the Osceola School District as the Football Team Physician.




René Milner, MD, Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine
René Milner, MD, is a board-certified Family Practice Physician. He joined Osceola Medical Center in 2006 as an Emergency Department physician. Milner earned his medical degree from the University of Manitoba, Manitoba, Canada, and his family practice degree from Kildonan Medical Center in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He completed his residency in obstetrics at the Women's Center, Health Sciences Center, Winnipeg. He and his wife have eight children and reside in St. Croix Falls, WI. His hobbies include hockey.




Arnold Potek, MD, Family Practice
Arnold Potek, MD, a General Practitioner, has practiced
medicine at Osceola Medical Center since 1975. His medical degree is from the University of Minnesota. His past practice experience includes a year working in hospitals in Israel and three years as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Medical Corp based in San Diego.

He and his wife, Nancy, live in Osceola. They have three
grown children. Dr. Potek's hobbies include bee keeping and maple sugaring.




Bonnie Rohr, MD, Family Medicine
Bonnie Rohr, MD, is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician who joined the Osceola Medical Center staff in 1999. Dr. Rohr attended medical school at the University of Minnesota in Duluth and Minneapolis, and received her medical degree in 1988. She completed her residency in family practice at the U of M, and was a family physician at Minnesota’s Cambridge Medical Center prior to coming to OMC. In 1998, she was a finalist in the Minnesota Academy of Family Practice “Family Physician of the Year”. Dr. Rohr’s husband, Dr. Robert Dybvig, is also a family physician at OMC. They live in Osceola with their children.

Her hobbies include activities with her children, reading, walking and gardening. She also volunteers as an elementary school mentor for the Osceola School District.




Erik Severson, MD, Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine
Erik Severson, MD, is a board-certified Family Practice Physician. He joined Osceola Medical Center in 2005 as an Emergency Department physician. Severson is a graduate of Mayo Medical School in Rochester, MN. He completed his residency in family practice at the University of Minnesota.








Kari Smith, MD, Family Medicine
Kari Smith, MD, is a board-certified Family Practice Physician who joined Osceola Medical Center in 2002. She received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 1999, and served her residency at the Duluth Family Practice Residency Program.

Her hobbies include hiking, canoeing, ballroom dancing, downhill skiing, travel and remodeling her home. Dr. Smith and her husband live in Osceola.




Amanda Ternbreull, MD, Family Medicine
Amanda Tembreull, MD, is a board-certified Family Practice Physician since 2008. She joined Osceola Medical Center in August 2008. She earned her family medicine degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School. She completed her residency at St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood, MN.

Along with family practice and preventive care, Dr. Tembreull also has interests in women’s health, obstetrics and pediatric medicine. She lives in the area with her husband and daughter.
