OMC TOPS NATIONAL FLU VACCINATION GOAL

OMC participated in a nation-wide Flu Vaccination Challenge. This challenge was aimed at increasing flu vaccination rates among health care workers. More than 1,700 hospitals participated.
The challenge was to obtain a staff vaccination rate of 43% or more; OMC more than doubled that rate, reaching 87%.
OMC also scored well in a similar flu challenge sponsored by the Bureau of Communicable Diseases, a division of Wisconsin Public Health. The Wisconsin agency has recognized OMC for the past five years for its flu vaccination efforts.
