Neurology is a medical specialty that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of all categories of disease and disorders involving the brain, spinal cord and nervous system. This includes traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, acute and critical care, clinical neurophysiology, and stroke, as well as conditions such as multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease and headaches. Our neurologist will evaluate your symptoms, provide a neurologic examination, order tests if needed and will work with you and your family medicine provider to develop a plan for treatment.


Ivan Brodsky, MD, Neurology
Ivan Brodsky, MD, of Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology, LLC, is a board-certified neurologist. He earned his medical degree from the University of Manitoba in 1967. After an internship at Los Angeles General Hospital, he completed his residency at the University of Minnesota. His professional associations include the Hennepin County Medical Society, Minnesota State Medical Society, Minnesota Society of Neurological, American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine, American Society of Neurorehabilitation, Fellow, Royal College of Physicians (Canada) and Fellow, Royal College of Physicians (London, England). His special interests include critical care, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and rehabilitation.

Bruce Norback, MD, Neurology

Bruce Norback, MD, of Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology, LLC, earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 1969. After an internship at Wayne County General Hospital in Detroit in 1970, he completed his residency at the University of Minnesota in 1975. He spent his fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at the University of Minnesota in 1976. he is board certified in neurology and electroencephalography. His professional associations include the Hennepin County Medical Society, Minnesota State Medical Society, American Medical Association, American Academy of Neurology and American Society of Clinical Neurophysiology. His special interest include acute care, clinical neurophysiology and stroke.
