In addition to routine and preventive care for women, we offer pregnancy and pre-natal care, breast care, contraception, adolescent healthcare, screenings, counseling and minimally invasive surgeries. Surgical services include hysterectomies, laparoscopic tubal fulgerations, diagnostic laparoscopies, c-sections, and hysteroscopies with endometrial ablation.

 

Birth Center
When you deliver your baby at OMC, you will experience the private, comfortable atmosphere of our new Birth Center. Our dedicated and highly trained providers and nursing staff offer exceptional one-on-one attention throughout your pre-natal appointments, labor, delivery and post-partum care.

 

 



Allison Karun, MD, Obstetrics and Gynecology
Allison Karun, of St. Croix Regional Medical Center in St. Croix Falls, is a graduate of the University of South Dakota in Vermillion. She earned her medical degree from the University of South Dakota Medical School. Her ObGyn residency was at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Karun practiced her specialty at a clinic in Rapid City, SD, before coming back to Wisconsin.





Bonnie Rohr, MD, Family Medicine
Bonnie Rohr, MD, is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician who joined the Osceola Medical Center staff in 1999. Dr. Rohr attended medical school at the University of Minnesota in Duluth and Minneapolis, and received her medical degree in 1988. She completed her residency in family practice at the U of M, and was a family physician at Minnesota’s Cambridge Medical Center prior to coming to OMC. In 1998, she was a finalist in the Minnesota Academy of Family Practice “Family Physician of the Year”. Dr. Rohr’s husband, Dr. Robert Dybvig, is also a family physician at OMC. They live in Osceola with their children.

Her hobbies include activities with her children, reading, walking and gardening. She also volunteers as an elementary school mentor for the Osceola School District.

 


Kari Smith, MD, Family Medicine
Kari Smith, MD, is a board-certified Family Practice Physician who joined Osceola Medical Center in 2002. She received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 1999, and served her residency at the Duluth Family Practice Residency Program.

Her hobbies include hiking, canoeing, ballroom dancing, downhill skiing, travel and remodeling her home. Dr. Smith and her husband live in Osceola.

 

 

Amanda Ternbreull, MD, Family Medicine
Amanda Tembreull, MD, is a board-certified Family Practice Physician since 2008. She joined Osceola Medical Center in August 2008. She earned her family medicine degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School. She completed her residency at St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood, MN.

Along with family practice and preventive care, Dr. Tembreull also has interests in women’s health, obstetrics and pediatric medicine. She lives in the area with her husband and daughter.
