Dr. Ciegler joined St.Croix Orthopaedics in 1994. Dr. Ciegler graduated from the University of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana, College of Medicine in 1989. He performed his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Minnesota Hospitals and Clinics, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Prior to medical school, Dr. Ciegler conducted eight years of basic research and presented his Masters and Doctoral thesis at the University of Illinois in the field of biomaterials, specifically, new materials for artificial bone. He has also lectured on the topic and his research results have been published in several journals.

Dr. Ciegler has a special interest in joint replacements, arthroscopy and injuries relating to outdoor sports activities. He continues to attend national and international orthopaedic and wilderness medical courses.

Dr. Berg joined St. Croix Orthopaedics in 2003. She attended St. Cloud State University and graduated with her doctorate from Dr. William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her surgical residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital Medical Center, an inner city trauma center in Chicago. There she became well-versed in overall podiatric clinical and surgical care, as well as podiatric trauma and diabetic foot care. Dr. Berg was also an athletic and personal trainer at St. Cloud State and a trainer for Acceleration Minnesota.

Dr. Berg is board eligible and is an associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (Candidate Member), American Podiatric Medical Association and Wisconsin Society of Podiatric Medicine

Dr. Berg is interested in general podiatric medical care and has lectured to medical audiences on many topics related to the treatment of foot and ankle injuries/conditions. She has been actively involved in community service through participation in American Diabetes Association events relating to diabetic foot and ankle conditions.
