Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy assists a person in promoting independence in daily activities, increasing strength and motion in the arms, and relieving pain and preventing disabilities or deformities. Through the use of tools and techniques, our specialists work on daily activities such as self-care, eating and dressing; work activities such as simplification techniques and time management; and leisure activities such as games, sports, hobbies and social events. Treatment may include the use of adaptive equipment and techniques; heat, cold and therapeutic exercise; joint and soft tissue mobilization; and the fabrication of splints and braces.
